Committee Meetings

The Emerging Leaders Network convenes every six to eight weeks to discuss trending topics, share best practices, and participate in training tailored around career development. Through these peer-based discussions, cohort members have an opportunity to expand their network and connect with other like-minded distribution professionals. October 2023

Theme: Emotional Intelligence
This month's meeting challenged participants to confront the role emotional intelligence plays in the workplace. The group used this time to discuss methods for establishing interpersonal relationships, the importance of effective communication, and why empathy is a core skill for leaders to possess.

May 2023

Theme: Conflict Resolution
Throughout this meeting, the group explored how to give appropriate feedback, the transition from peer to manager, and real-world examples of conflict resolution.

April 2023

Theme: Motivation
In today’s workplace, effective leaders need to know how to navigate the not-so simple process of motivating others. With that, this meeting served as a “how to” for getting employees out of their comfort zones, inspiring both new and seasoned employees, creating a fulfilling workplace, and much more.
